If you’re a connected artist
The fastest way is to disconnect the channel from your dashboard. From /dashboard/settings/integrations click Disconnect next to the channel you want removed (Instagram, Telegram, etc.). This triggers a purge within 24 hours:
- The encrypted OAuth token for that channel is destroyed.
- All conversations on that channel are deleted (the artist’s side and the visitor’s side).
- Profile data and media tatty scraped from your connected account are deleted.
- Submission records (the structured booking summaries) are kept as business records but the visitor PII attached to them is anonymised.
To delete your entire artist account and all associated data, email privacy@tatty.ink from your account email and we’ll process it within 30 days (usually within 24 hours). Disconnecting your channels first (above) removes each channel’s data immediately.
If you’re a visitor or client
If you messaged a tatty-connected artist on Instagram, Telegram, or via a booking page and want your conversation deleted, please email privacy@tatty.ink with the identifier you used (Instagram handle, Telegram username, or email) and we’ll process the request within 30 days. In most cases the data is removed within 24 hours.
Deleting an unclaimed preview
If you previewed a tatty page without signing up, your data is automatically deleted within 30 days. To delete immediately, return to your preview and click “Delete this preview” — or remove tatty from your Instagram app permissions in Settings → Apps and websites.
If you’re removing tatty from Instagram
If you disconnect tatty through Meta’s own privacy controls (Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites → tatty → Remove), Meta notifies us via the data-deletion callback at tatty.ink/api/data-deletion. We then run the same 24-hour purge described in §01 above, and Meta provides you with a confirmation code you can use to check status.
What we keep, and why
We may retain some data after a deletion request if we’re required to by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes) or if the data is needed to resolve an open dispute. We’ll delete that data when the requirement no longer applies.
